Leicester stun United to pile the pressure on Ole

Despite an optimistic transfer window from both sides, their respective league starts have left a lot to be desired. Man United losing 2 of their last 4 (1 win thanks to a 95th minute winner and 1 draw), piling the pressure on Solskjaer and his team as they look to win a trophy with the United boss. However, the Foxes league form was also in tatters sitting 13th and without a win in 4 league games.

It was a bright start for United as Greenwood's brilliant strike put the reds ahead. However, a dream United start was soon cancelled out as Maguire's nightmarish game begun, Iheanacho robbing the ball of the Englishman before teeing up Tielemans who applied a world class finish to level the scores. That concluded the first half.

In the second, Tielemans once again went close as his shot was tipped onto the post by De Gea. This time it was Leicester who took the lead. Tielemans corner bouncing through to Daka who's shot was bundled into the path of Soyuncu who pounced to put the Foxes ahead. But it was Leicester who once again paid the price for poor defending as Lindelof found Rashford who put away his first of the season. In an end to end game United once again had their backs against the wall and were punished immediately after the restart as Vardy continued his fine goal scoring form. There was to be no fight back from the reds as summer signing Daka bundled the ball home from Tielemans free kick to conclude an excellent afternoon for the Foxes.

An unorganised display from United epitomised by Maguire's shambolic individual performance against his old club. However, it was delight for Leicester as they highlighted the quality they still have from last season. The win bolsters the Foxes up to 11th, who visit Moscow midweek before their test at the Brentford Community Stadium next weekend. For United, they sit 5 points of leaders Chelsea as they already begin to lose ground on their rivals. Next up they welcome Atalanta in the Champions League before hosting Liverpool next weekend in what promises to be a tasty tie.
